Part-Time Instrument Technician
We are in search of a skilled and reliable Part-Time Instrument Technician to join our team in Porto. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instrumentation equipment used in laboratory or manufacturing settings. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income or students pursuing a technical degree.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on various types of instrumentation equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise with the equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of equipment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in instrumentation technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Prior experience working with instrumentation equipment preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own transportation to travel between job sites
Compensation:
This is a part-time position paying $1500 per month. Additional benefits may be available depending on experience.
Location:
This position is located in Porto, but candidates from other nearby cities will also be considered.
