Floral Designer


We are a well-established floral design company located in Washington, seeking a skilled and creative Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. We are looking for someone who is passionate about flowers and has an eye for detail to bring unique and beautiful designs to life.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create unique floral arrangements according to clients' preferences and event themes
- Select appropriate flowers, greenery, and other decorative elements for each arrangement
- Arrange flowers in an aesthetically pleasing manner while ensuring proper balance, scale, and color coordination
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and order new materials as needed
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide excellent customer service
- Set up arrangements at event venues in a timely manner
- Ensure the quality of all floral arrangements meets our standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and greenery
- Creativity and artistic flair with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to work with clients and other team members
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs)
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric passport holders (Indian nationals preferred)
- Previous experience working in contract jobs or freelance positions
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Passion for continuous learning about new floral trends and techniques

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
