Excavator Operator in Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of excavators to perform assigned tasks
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Conduct pre-operation checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Dig trenches, ditches, or foundations according to project specifications
- Load and unload materials into trucks or onto conveyors
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating excavators is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license

Salary: $1500 per month
