Job Title: Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Nakuru. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators, preferably in the construction or mining industry. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to move materials and perform digging, trenching, and grading tasks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any defects or malfunctions
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times to prevent accidents
- Communicate with other team members on job site to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store equipment when not in use
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others on a team

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (accommodation not provided)
