Executive Chef
We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Muscat. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, creating innovative and high-quality dishes, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and unique menus that meet the standards of the restaurant
- Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes served
- Train and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and excellence in their work
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing
- Continuously strive to improve upon existing menu items as well as introduce new dishes to keep up with culinary trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and ingredients
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique menus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work full-time without accommodation
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
