Junior Merchandiser


We are hiring for the position of Junior Merchandiser in Salalah, Oman. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting the senior merchandisers with product planning, developing and implementing strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month, along with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior merchandisers with product planning and development
- Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends
- Creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Managing inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Coordinating with production teams to monitor progress and resolve any issues
- Assisting in the negotiation of pricing and terms with suppliers
- Tracking sales performance and making recommendations for improvements
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels
- Providing support for any ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by senior merchandisers

Requirements:
- Pakistani nationality preferred, but open to all nationalities
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in merchandising or a similar role is an advantage but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
