Interpreter for English-Speaking Clients (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are currently seeking a skilled and professional interpreter to assist with communication between our English-speaking clients and our team in Shan, China. This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in both English and Chinese, with a preference for those who also have knowledge of Indian culture and customs.

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating conversations, documents, and presentations from English to Chinese and vice versa. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages, as well as the ability to think quickly and clearly under pressure.

In addition to interpreting, you may also be asked to assist with cultural mediation between our international clients and local team members. This requires a deep understanding of both Chinese and Indian cultures, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

We are looking for someone who is highly professional, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. As this role involves working closely with our clients, you must be able to present yourself in a polished manner and provide exceptional customer service.

This position does not require previous experience as an interpreter; however, it is preferred. We do require that all applicants hold a valid biometric passport for travel purposes.

Please note that this job does not include accommodation; therefore, we are seeking candidates who already reside in Shan or are willing to relocate at their own expense.
