We are a publishing company based in Shanghai, China and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Typesetter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text, images, and other elements in a visually appealing and organized layout for various print and digital publications.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software such as Adobe InDesign to typeset text, images, charts, and other elements according to design specifications.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure that the layout is visually appealing and aligns with the overall design concept.
- Proofread your work to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Knowledge of typography principles and design fundamentals.
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Shanghai, China. While we welcome applicants from all nationalities, proficiency in English is required.
