Copywriter

We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team in Funchal. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive written content for various marketing materials, including advertisements, social media posts, website copy, and more. You will work closely with the design team to ensure that the written content effectively complements the visual elements of our campaigns.

Responsibilities:
- Write persuasive and engaging copy for various marketing materials
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure cohesive messaging across all campaigns
- Research industry trends and competitors to inform content strategy
- Edit and proofread all written content for accuracy and consistency
- Optimize content for SEO to improve website traffic and search engine rankings
- Brainstorm new ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing best practices and industry developments

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role in a marketing or advertising agency
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- A portfolio of previous work showcasing your writing abilities
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Strong research skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or relevant field

Salary: 1200$ per month

Location: Funchal (accommodation provided if needed)

Nationality/Residence: Portuguese nationality or willingness to relocate to Funchal.
