Information Technology Manager

We are currently hiring for an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team in Almada. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems of our organization. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals
- Develop and implement IT strategies and plans to support the overall goals of the organization
- Stay updated on advancements in technology and make recommendations for new systems or upgrades
- Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Ensure the security and integrity of our data by implementing appropriate measures and protocols
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and propose solutions
- Train employees on new systems or software as needed
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing, data security, and other relevant technologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in budget management
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prior experience in project management is preferred
