Junior Web Developer


We are a growing web development company based in Faro, seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function according to our clients' specifications. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month and provide accommodation for non-local candidates. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Faro.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing websites
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Test website functionality and make necessary updates or changes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in web development

Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development languages
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience with web development projects or internships
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
