Network and Systems Administrator


We are in search of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Lahore. As a crucial member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and associated hardware and software systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation and high performance of our network, while also providing technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
- Maintain network security through regular updates, patches, and backups.
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems.
- Identify potential risks in the network infrastructure and implement necessary security measures.
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity, hardware or software issues.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement new projects or upgrades.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), hardware (e.g. routers) and software (e.g. firewalls).
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE.
- Experience working with biometric passports.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.
