Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Hawalli. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to move and transport heavy materials on construction sites or at industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes, according to safety regulations and manufacturer's instructions
- Inspect and maintain the crane equipment before and during operation to ensure proper functioning
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate movements with other workers on the ground
- Lift and move heavy materials, equipment, or containers using the crane's hoist, boom, or jib
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and crane maintenance activities
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or damage to property
- Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid Crane Operator certification/license preferred
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a team environment

This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month. The ideal candidate should have a biometric passport and be able to communicate effectively in English.
