Blast Furnace Operator in Split, Croatia


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team at our steel manufacturing plant in Split, Croatia. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace to produce high-quality molten iron for steel production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the blast furnace and all related equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor and adjust furnace temperature, pressure, and flow rates as needed for optimal performance
- Keep accurate records of production levels, temperatures, and other data
- Troubleshoot any issues with the furnace or equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the blast furnace and overall production process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Blast Furnace Operator in a steel manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; knowledge of Croatian is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1200 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance.
