Foreign Fitter - Contract Position in Atlanta



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreign Fitter to join our team in Atlanta on a contract basis. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to determine assembly procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble parts and components
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify any defects or malfunctions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing worn-out components, and tightening connections
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment, making necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
- Prior experience working on contract jobs is preferred but not required

Compensation:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
