Preservation Architect
We are hiring an experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro, Portugal. Our company specializes in historic preservation projects and we are seeking a skilled architect with a passion for preserving and restoring old structures. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in preservation architecture and be able to work independently on projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments of historic structures
- Develop preservation plans and proposals
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals on preservation projects
- Oversee the construction process to ensure preservation standards are met
- Conduct research on historical buildings and materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to historic structures
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software programs
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 USD per month for this full-time position. Benefits include health insurance coverage.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. The city is known for its rich history and beautiful architecture, making it the perfect location for a Preservation Architect.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own accommodation arrangements or be willing to relocate to Faro.

Other Requirements:
In order to travel for project sites within Europe, candidates must have a valid biometric passport. This requirement is necessary due to the nature of our work involving historical sites across different countries.

Note:
