Typesetter

We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Mauren. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. We welcome applications from Indians, English speakers, and women.

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for arranging and formatting text and images for print or digital publication. Your attention to detail and expertise in typography will ensure that our publications are visually appealing and error-free.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software to arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and consistency of fonts throughout the document
- Proofread content for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Collaborate with editors and designers to achieve desired layout and design
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong knowledge of typography principles, styles, and techniques
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Graphic Design or related field
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for web publication
- Experience working in a publishing environment
