We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main task will be to efficiently and safely move earth and materials at construction sites or other locations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Move earth and materials as directed by supervisors or project managers
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including time spent on tasks and materials used

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role
- Knowledge of heavy machinery operations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors or project managers
- Physical strength and stamina to withstand long hours of operating machinery
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
