As an Executive Chef at our luxury resort in Funchal, Portugal, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and food operations. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced chef who is passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect the local cuisine and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Creative flair and passion for culinary arts with knowledge of different cooking techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and guests
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
