Hotel Sales Manager - Akron, Canada



We are a reputable hotel in Akron, Canada seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel through effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with potential clients.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential customers
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest experience and customer satisfaction
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Manage the sales team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel sales management or related role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards common goals
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation:
