QA Engineer

A leading software development company in Funchal is seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to our clients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month, including accommodation and visa support.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
- Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Analyze and report bugs, errors, and defects
- Conduct manual testing as well as automated testing when necessary
- Develop testing strategies and plans for new projects
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on potential issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools (such as Selenium)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
