Web Developer - Contract Position in Washington, USA


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, USA. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. You will also be responsible for creating visually appealing user interfaces and ensuring the functionality of websites across various browsers and devices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand client requirements and create effective website designs
- Write efficient code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely solutions
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Conduct cross-browser compatibility testing
- Ensure website security measures are implemented
- Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Experience with responsive design techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot coding issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent time-management skills to meet project deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
