Pastry Chef for a Boutique Bakery in Chelyabinsk, Russia


We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team and lead the pastry department of our boutique bakery in Chelyabinsk, Russia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a team of bakers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for developing new recipes, overseeing the production and presentation of pastries, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new recipes and adapt existing ones
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry recipes that align with our bakery's brand and vision
- Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and manage a team of bakers, delegating tasks as necessary
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to create seasonal menus
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into the bakery's offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry department
- Adhere to budget guidelines set by management

Salary: $1300 per month
