Crane Operator


As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads in construction or industrial settings. This is a contract job located in Faro, Portugal with a salary of 1300$. Accommodation is not provided, and the candidate must have a valid biometric passport. This position is open to all genders.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Communicate with ground personnel using hand signals or radios
- Rig loads by attaching slings, hooks, or other rigging equipment
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and equipment usage
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from an accredited crane operator training program
- Experience operating multiple types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in industrial settings
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
