Part-Time Concierge in Almada, Portugal



As a part-time concierge in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests visiting our city. Your main duties will include greeting and assisting guests upon arrival, making reservations and recommendations for local attractions and activities, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guests during their stay.

Requirements:

- Fluent in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or tourism industry preferred
- Knowledge of local area and attractions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Valid work permit for Portugal (visa sponsorship available)

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local area attractions
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, tours, or other activities as requested
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints in a professional manner and escalate if necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby area and ensure it is presentable at all times
- Assist with luggage handling when needed
- Keep track of guest requests and follow up to ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Communicate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position with an average of 20 hours per week. Working hours may vary based on hotel occupancy levels. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary of 1200$ per month. In addition, we offer free visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens as well as a complimentary ticket to Portugal.
