Job Title: Junior Accountant - Gujrat, Pakistan



We are currently hiring for the position of Junior Accountant to join our team in Gujrat, Pakistan. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial tasks and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records such as invoices, bills, and receipts
- Update and maintain general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with local regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Communicate with clients to answer any accounting-related questions or concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Pakistan
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- CPA certification is a plus

Salary: 1200$

Location: Gujrat, Pakistan
