Excavator Operator



As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, following safety procedures, and communicating with team members. This position requires a physically fit individual with previous experience operating excavators.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks
- Load and unload materials from trucks using excavator
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job site
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and maximize efficiency

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to work well in a team environment under time constraints

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month, with accommodation provided in Almada. This is a full-time position with potential for overtime hours.
