Part-time Database Administrator


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time Database Administrator to join our team in Braga. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring data security and integrity, and providing support to end-users.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases according to business requirements
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery procedures
- Optimize database systems for maximum efficiency
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with data-related inquiries
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate new systems or technologies into the existing database infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with data backup and recovery procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
