Metal Worker vacancy in Almada Portugal

Metal Fabricator

We are in need of a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking techniques and be able to produce high-quality metal products according to specifications. They should also have experience working with various types of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using tools such as saws, shears, and presses
- Join metal pieces together by welding or soldering
- Smooth and polish surfaces of finished products using grinders or sanders
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols while working with metals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Good mathematical skills for measurements
- Knowledge of different types of metals, their properties, and best practices for working with them
- Familiarity with safety precautions when working with metals
Salary for this position is $900 per month. This is a full-time job suitable for men. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Almada. We welcome applicants of any nationality who meet the requirements above.
