Waiter/Waitress

We are a busy restaurant located in the bustling city of Almada, and we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Waiter/Waitress to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that tables are clean and well-presented.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Prepare and serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Ensure that tables are clean and set up properly for the next guests
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a calm and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell menu items or specials to customers
- Process payments accurately using POS system
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, special promotions, and restaurant policies

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1400 per month (plus tips)

Location: Almada, Portugal
