Job Title: Experienced Mason in Faro, Portugal

We are currently in need of an experienced Mason to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining and repairing structures made of brick, stone or other similar materials. Your main duties will include reading blueprints, mixing mortar, laying bricks and stones according to plans and ensuring that the structure is sturdy and level.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mason is required.
- Must be able to work full time.
- Must have a valid visa for working in Portugal.
- All nationalities are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, chalk lines or marking gauges.
- Mix mortar according to standard formulas.
- Lay bricks or stones according to plans, using tools such as hammers or chisels.
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, gauge line or level.
- Cut or saw bricks or stones to fit into irregular spaces.
- Fill expansion joints with the appropriate caulking materials.
- Clean excess mortar from surface of brickwork or from joints using trowels or other tools.
- Repair brickwork by replacing damaged bricks or filling cracks with mortar.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans.
- Physically fit and able to work with heavy materials and equipment for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Education:
A high school diploma is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
