Junior Web Designer

The Junior Web Designer will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. They will work closely with the senior web designer and other team members to develop website layouts, graphics, and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, web development technologies, and industry trends. This is an entry-level position suitable for someone with basic web design skills and a passion for creating engaging online experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the senior web designer to create website layouts and designs
- Use design software to create graphics, icons, and other visual elements
- Ensure all designs are in line with brand guidelines and meet quality standards
- Conduct research on current design trends and implement new features as needed
- Optimize website performance by utilizing SEO best practices
- Test website functionality across different browsers and devices
- Troubleshoot any design or technical issues that may arise during the development process
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web design technologies and tools

Requirements:
- A degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred but not required
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Prior experience in web design projects (personal or professional) is preferred but not required
