Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist

As a Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, as well as other materials. You will work closely with construction teams to ensure that projects are completed to high standards and within tight deadlines. Your expertise in carpentry and knowledge of building codes and regulations will be essential in ensuring the safety and stability of structures. This role requires a high level of skill and precision, as well as physical stamina to perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings will be crucial in achieving desired results. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a passion for construction, and takes pride in producing quality work.

In this role, you will:

- Build structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, stairways, decks using various tools and techniques
- Install fixtures such as windows, doors, molding
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan projects and identify required materials
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications
- Select appropriate materials based on project requirements
- Measure materials accurately for cutting or shaping
- Use hand/power tools safely to assemble structures or fixtures
- Maintain clean work area and tools

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent measurement skills
- Proficient in using hand/power tools safely
Location: Shan (Indian nationals preferred)

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Position type: Part-time (with potential for full-time)

Experience: 2+ years in carpentry or related field (freshers with relevant training may also be considered)

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training/certification in carpentry preferred)

Language: Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages is an asset)

- Must have own tools and transportation
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary
