Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Washington. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial or commercial settings. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections and tests, and ensuring that all instruments are functioning properly.
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems.
- Maintain and repair existing instruments and control systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems.
- Perform inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Order necessary parts and equipment for repairs.
- Train other technicians on proper use of instruments and control systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and instrument calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with various types of instrumentation such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
Salary: $1000 per month.
Location: Washington D.C., United States.
Nationality/Residency: Canadian preferred but not required.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English required.
