Indian Merchandiser in Mombasa



As an Indian Merchandiser in Mombasa, you will be responsible for managing the display and promotion of products in retail establishments. Your main goal will be to increase sales and customer satisfaction by ensuring that products are visually appealing and readily available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with suppliers to discuss product range, pricing, and availability
- Negotiate prices and monitor inventory levels
- Plan and implement product displays in accordance with company guidelines
- Monitor sales trends and adjust displays accordingly
- Ensure that all products are accurately priced and labeled
- Collaborate with sales team to develop promotional strategies for products
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for improvement
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for growth

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a merchandiser or similar role
- Experience working with retail products, preferably in the fashion industry
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to work full-time and flexible hours as needed
