Library Assistant - Part Time (For Non-Native Speakers)

As a Library Assistant at our library in Clairvaux, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse community of Malayalees and foreigners. We are specifically looking for individuals who do not have English as their first language, as this will allow us to better serve our non-native speaking patrons. This is a part-time position, perfect for students or those looking for flexible hours.

Your main responsibility will be to assist the Librarian in managing the daily operations of the library. This includes organizing and shelving books, checking books in and out for patrons, and helping with library events and programs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Previous experience working in a library is not required, but would be beneficial. Knowledge of Malayalam language is preferred but not mandatory.
