Seamstress


We are in need of a skilled Seamstress to join our team in Malindi. The ideal candidate must have experience in sewing, alterations, and garment construction. The Seamstress will be responsible for creating high-quality garments based on customer specifications and ensuring that all finished products meet our company's standards.

Responsibilities:
- Take accurate measurements of clients and interpret their requests
- Use sewing machines and hand tools to create garments
- Read and interpret patterns, sketches, or samples to create garments
- Alter or repair clothing as needed
- Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages
- Ensure that all finished products meet quality standards
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to create new designs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Proficient in operating sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment
- Knowledge of different fabrics, materials, and their properties
- Ability to read patterns, sketches, or samples accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
Our company is located in Malindi, a beautiful coastal city in Kenya known for its white sandy beaches and rich culture. This job is open to candidates of any nationality who have their own visa.
