As an entry-level Network and Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our network and server infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install and maintain network hardware and software
- Perform routine maintenance on servers and ensure backups are regularly completed
- Identify and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Assist with the setup of new computers, printers, and other equipment
- Provide technical support to employees for any IT-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

Location:
This position is located in Braga, Portugal. While Portuguese nationality is preferred, candidates from other nationalities are also welcome to apply.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
