Interpreter for International Events

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team for international events. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services at conferences, meetings, and other events. This role is based in Faro, Portugal, but may require occasional travel to other locations.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret speeches, discussions, and presentations accurately and efficiently from one language to another.
- Act as a cultural liaison between speakers and audience members.
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation depending on the needs of the event.
- Prepare for events by researching relevant terminology and becoming familiar with the subject matter.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is set up and functioning properly before each event.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements:
- Fluent in at least two languages (English plus one additional language).
- Previous experience as an Interpreter in a professional setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information accurately.
- Knowledge of different cultures and their customs to ensure effective communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations quickly.
- Proficiency in using interpretation equipment such as headsets, microphones, etc.

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.
