Interpreter - Portuguese/English
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between Portuguese and English speakers. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1800$.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and phone calls
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of the speaker's words in both languages
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research and familiarize yourself with specialized terminology related to the industries you will be interpreting for
- Take notes and provide summaries or translations when necessary
- Ensure clear communication by asking for clarification or checking for understanding
- Adhere to ethical standards and cultural sensitivity while interpreting

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English languages
- Proven experience as an interpreter
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology
- Biometric passport (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation or related field
- Previous experience working as an interpreter in a professional setting
