Junior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Funchal. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. This is an ideal position for recent graduates or students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of project plans, designs, and specifications
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of project execution
- Prepare progress reports and update project documentation as needed
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and codes
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal (accommodation provided if needed)
