Waiter for Indian Restaurant in Malindi


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter to join our Indian restaurant team in the beautiful city of Malindi. Our restaurant offers a diverse menu of authentic Indian cuisine and we are looking for a waiter who is familiar with Indian food and culture.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival
- Present menus and make recommendations based on customer preferences
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgency
- Process payments accurately using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area, including setting up tables and refilling condiments
- Assist with restocking inventory as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, spices, and cultural customs
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; knowledge of other languages is a plus (Hindi, Swahili)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Customer service oriented with a friendly demeanor
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month without accommodation. This position is suitable for men who are passionate about the hospitality industry and have experience working in restaurants.
