Junior Accountant in St. Petersburg



We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor expenses and prepare reports on variances
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Contribute to the development of internal controls and procedures
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies
- Perform general administrative duties as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in accounting or related field preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
