Executive Chef
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations of our prestigious hotel in Mecca. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead and inspire our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus, create recipes, and ensure food quality and presentation meets the highest standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and procedures are followed
- Oversee food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or functions
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern and Indian dishes preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficiency in Malayalam preferred
