Moderator for Online Community (Chelyabinsk, Russia)


As a Moderator for our online community based in Chelyabinsk, Russia, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and engagement of our platform. You will be responsible for monitoring user interactions, enforcing community guidelines, and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all members.

You should have excellent communication skills in English and be comfortable working with Indian users. Previous experience moderating online communities is preferred but not required. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user posts and comments to ensure they adhere to community guidelines
- Engage with community members to foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the rest of the moderation team to address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Keep track of trending topics within the community and provide feedback to the team

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable working with Indian users and understanding cultural nuances
- Proven experience moderating online communities is a plus
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Biometric passport required for international travel

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Relocation assistance can be provided if necessary.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
