Job Title: Interpreter/Translator


We are seeking a skilled and professional Interpreter/Translator to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As an Interpreter/Translator, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This position requires strong language skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone or through video conferencing for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Translate written documents from one language to another with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure cultural and linguistic understanding between parties by conveying meaning accurately and objectively
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted conversations and translated documents
- Research terminology related to each project to ensure accuracy of interpretation and translation
- Collaborate with team members to improve language services and processes

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Indian languages)
- Proven experience as an interpreter/translator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
- Ability to remain impartial during conversations or translate sensitive information with professionalism and sensitivity
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and ability to adapt accordingly
- Familiarity with translation software is a plus
- Own visa/work permit in Lithuania is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month.
