Land Surveyor


As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries, topography, and other physical features of the land. Your role will involve using specialized equipment such as GPS systems and total stations to collect data, analyzing the data to create maps and reports, and providing recommendations for land development or construction projects.

Your main duties will include:

- Conducting field surveys using various surveying instruments
- Taking accurate measurements of land features
- Collecting and analyzing data using computer software
- Preparing detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveyed areas
- Providing recommendations for land development or construction projects based on survey findings
- Communicating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations while working on-site

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field
- Proven experience (or willingness to learn) in conducting land surveys
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members
- Knowledge of relevant laws, codes, and regulations related to land surveying (optional)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (optional)
