Job Title: Welder



Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Lisbon. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment. This position offers a competitive salary of $1600 per month, accommodation, and visa sponsorship for all levels of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and ARC
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Repair damaged metal products by cutting out damaged sections and re-welding new pieces
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute welding repairs or projects
• Maintain proper safety procedures while working with hot metals and hazardous materials

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Proficient in various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and ARC
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with safety procedures while working with hot metals and hazardous materials
• Physical strength to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments
• Valid work visa (sponsorship provided if needed)
• Accommodation will be provided

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical training or certification in welding is preferred.

Working Conditions:
This job requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You may also be required to work at elevated heights or in confined spaces. Proper safety equipment will be provided. You may also be required to stand for long periods of time.
