Excavator Operator in Eldoret, Kenya

We are in search of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to excavate and move earth, rock and other materials. You should have a good understanding of safety protocols and be able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. Preference will be given to Indian nationals, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Dig trenches, ditches and other excavations as needed
- Load and unload materials from trucks using the excavator
- Clean up work area after completion of project
- Communicate with team members and supervisors effectively

Requirements:
- Prior experience operating an excavator is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
