Job Title: Contract Turner in Porto


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team in Porto on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools to produce precision metal parts, as well as reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires someone with experience in the field and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine settings and sequences of operations
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or parts
- Maintain machinery by performing regular maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid work permit/visa for Portugal (visa sponsorship available)

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Porto, Portugal (relocation assistance available)
